Ending Sexual & Gender Based Violence
Millions of women and girls face many forms of Human Rights violations throughout their lives, including gender-based violence (GBV) rape, female genital mutilation (FGM), sexual exploitation, child marriage and domestic violence. We work with communities to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls and create sustainable, long-term change. We achieve this by:
Championing initiatives that improve the safety, autonomy and security of women and girls in daily life and activities
Outreach Programmes to raise awareness on VAW
Challenging traditional norms and practices that put women and girls at risk.
Providing Shelter and respite for women and girls facing violence
Education programmes for boys and young men to promote gender equality.
